Spring 2018 Playlist Picks

Welcome to my first playlist post!! I feel like this has been a long time coming, just because I’m obsessed with music and making playlists to fit my mood, the season, etc. I have music playing when I get ready, when I’m in the shower, on the train, walking, running, or even writing a blog post hehe !! It really pumps me up and makes me feel everything more intensely.

  • Such a JAM!! If you need a new addition to your workout playlist, this is it.

Sanctify – Years & Years

  • My “fighter” song. Don’t mess with me!

ICY GRL (feat. Kehlani) – Bae Mix – Saweetie, Kehlani

  • A classic GRL PWR rap song with all female musicians! *heart eyes*

Lucid Dreams – Juice WRLD

  • The only sad song I’m letting myself listen to this spring. The vocals plus melody makes my cold heart feel things!

Myself – Bazzi

  • This song will make you want to break up with your ex all over again. Sometimes, you’re better by yourself.

I Like It – Cardi B, Bad Bunny, J Balvin

  • I love you, Cardi B!!! The Spanish inspired background music plus her rapping makes me want to plan another vacation asap.

Push – Matchbox Twenty

  • Throwback alert! If you want to make fun of me for this pick that’s fine. Let me live!!

She Ain’t In It – Jon Pardi

  • Traditional heartbreak song. This is where my Kansas/Arkansas roots come out. I love country music! Like the classic stuff & the new stuff. This song is a mix of both. Banjo + band support for his smooth lyrics.

Fuck Feelings – Olivia O’Brien

  • Yeah, I said fuck. This PG-13 song is really great for my friends and me right now. Dodging bullets 2018 😉

Indecente – Anitta

  • Even if you don’t speak Spanish I highly recommend you give Anitta’s stuff a listen. Her songs are next level sexy.

What I Need (feat. Kehlani) – Hayley Kiyoko

  • The whole Expectations album is amazing, but this is one of my faves! It reminds me it’s okay to ask for exactly what you need!

Downtown’s Dead – Sam Hunt

  • Sam Hunt, every single college girl in the SEC was obsessed with you in 2014, and guess what?! I still am! The way he sings makes me want to date a country boy.
