Winter is Coming

Winter is coming… and we all best be ready when it does. Any GOT fans out there? I live for Jon Snow, he’s everything I want and more. Anyways – back on track. There are so many things that I love about living in Chicago, but the extreme cold is NOT one of them. In preparation, over the past few months, I’ve accumulated many turtle necks, chunky knits, and boots. Some of which you can see in this look! It’s one of my absolute faves.

See below for tips on staying warm, linked products, and more photos!

Tip #1 – Stock up on heavy knits, sweaters, and cardigans to layer over and under other items in your wardrobe. I love the style and color of this turtleneck. It’s a good get, especially considering it’s from Abercrombie! Don’t sleep on Crombie, folks, it’s that good good. I’m wearing a Medium and it fits perfectly. I’m a size 4-6 for reference.

Tip #2 – Get yourself a good pair of suede or leather OTK boots. They’re functional, fashionable, and actually keep you warm in the near freezing temps! This pair is affordable and from one of my favorite brands Dolce Vita – linked in the product carousel above! This dark grey is so unique; me likey! P.S. The Stuart Weitzman Tieland Boots are definitely on my holiday wish list. Definitely an investment, but worth it!

Tip #3 – Invest in some wool and down coats for every occasion. I’m planning a dedicated post soon on everything outerwear. Stay tuned!

Tip #4 – Think warm thoughts!!
