Quarter Life Crisis + more

I could so easily freak out right now, but I’m not going to. There are so many amazing things about turning 25. Like, choosing if I want to be mature or young and wild, depending on the situation 😉 Also, renting a car! TBH in the grand scheme of things it’s just another birthday to spend with friends and family, however, I would be remiss if I didn’t reflect on what I’ve learned as a 24 year old so I can go BOLDLY into my next year. After all, I grew a lot this past year. I took things in stride at work, grew my blog audience and content, got to visit home more than usual, and finally found those life long friendships.

It wasn’t all sunshine and daisies, though. I lost loved ones, was the subject of gossip, lost touch with friends, and stubbed my toe 10842 times.

Putting that all into perspective, still… 24 was still pretty wonderful to me. I wouldn’t have it any other way. 25 is just the beginning for all of us. PRIME of life right now folks! Young, driven, and living in Chicago.

In other news, this outfit has been on repeat as the perfect transitional outfit into fall!! Even though it’s full on chilly and cloudy here in Chicago, already. Not much of a transition if you ask me?!?! Even so, I’m SO glad white jeans year round is a thing now, because they really make shades like this gorgeous emerald pop. These Madewell white jeans have to be my favorite pair I’ve ever owned. They’re high waisted with a front button detail that really flatters any shape. Highly recommend! The other star of this outfit is the OTS emerald green sweater. What’s even better than the color and neckline of this one is the price. It’s an affordable price from one of my favorite stores as of late, Abercrombie! TBT to middle school when I would beg my mom for Abercrombie denim and henleys. Well this A&F isn’t your mothers. It’s high quality basics that will take you from summer to fall quicker than you can say ‘FedEx’!
